The Comité de Coordination des Familles de Disparu(e)s dont le sort reste inconnu et des Victimes de Disparitions Forcées au Maroc was created in 1992. Its aim is to coordinate initiatives launched in Morocco by survivors and families of the disappeared. Numerous actions have been set up in Europe, and particularly in France, thanks to the commitment of the Association des parents et amis de disparu(e)s au Maroc. In Morocco, faced with the oppression of which they were victims, the families led dispersed actions within various human rights organizations such as the Moroccan Association for Human Rights and the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights.
