The Committee for the defence of democracy freedoms and human rights in Syria (CFD) works alongside the families of the disappeared to gather as much information as possible on the thousands of enforced disappearances that have occurred in Syria since the early 1980s. To this end, the CFD regularly raises awareness among the Syrian government and international public opinion through reports, press releases, urgent appeals, etc.
