IHD is the Turkish Human Rights Association, founded in 1986 by human rights activists. The IHD has branches throughout Turkey, and its actions include the fight against enforced disappearances. The IHD supports the associations of families of the disappeared, and publishes press releases and reports, with the aim of solving this atrocious crime in Turkey.
