It is with deep sadness that the Euro-Mediterranean Federation against Enforced Disappearances (FEMED) has learned of the Death of Fatima Yous, the beloved Mother of Nassera Dutour (FEMED President) today Tuesday, July 22, 2020.

Sharing the pain felt by the grandmothers, mothers, wives and daughters of the disappeared, Fatima Yous was tireless in her efforts to combat impunity and enforced disappearance.

She could only minimize the disappearance of her grandson Amine Amrouche (Nassera Dutour's son) until her last breath, and as long as she could, she got up early to do her research and stayed up late at night; she actively organized demonstrations to obtain justice for the disappeared. "Truth at all costs! And what about the fate of our missing loved ones? Her dedication is remarkable; her actions are exemplary and will be remembered forever.
